The Italian bike maker Ducati has finally launched its 2021 Ducati Monster at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Ducati Monster Plus at Rs 11.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike claims to be the most compact and lightest but still promises to offer a whole lot of ride performance. Both versions will be available in Ducati Red and Dark Stealth with black wheels and aviator grey with GP red wheels.

Reportedly, the company claims that the Ducati Monster has been designed and developed from scratch. The bike looks are muscular and eye-catching due to its signature Monster design which includes, a shoulder-embedded round headlamp, a clean tail section, bison's back-inspired chunky fuel tank, and center-positioned engine.

The bike's frame is built around a lightweight frame compared to the previous trellis chassis, as the new chassis is 60% lighter. The frame also consists of Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP), which makes the bike lightweight. Ducati Monster draws power from a new Testastretta 11 degree, 937 cc L-twin engine with Desmodromic technology. The new engine gets a higher displacement, better power, and torque as compared to Ducati 821. Ducati Monster's engine churns out 111 hp power at 9,250 rpm and 93 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm.
