Kia Seltos X-Line unveiled in India ahead of September 2021 launch

Kia India had unveiled its new compact SUV, Kia Seltos X-Line. The company had showcased its pre-production version at the 2020 Auto Expo. The design that the company showcased was an aggressive-looking and dark-theme version of regular Seltos. The car is expected to launch in India in September 2021.

The Kia Seltos X Line has a matte finishing and, the graphite paint job makes it neat and clean. To complement the grey paint scheme, the company has added orange accents on the front and rear bumper of the car. The car has LED taillights, headlamps, and turn indicators. There is not much change in the interior of the car. The leatherette upholstery comes in an attractive shade of blue, Indigo Pera. The car runs on 1.5-liter diesel producing 113bhp/250Nm and, it has a six-speed automatic gearbox. 

This car has everything that the company offers in its other models. They provide an eight-speaker Bose sound system, ambient lighting, 360-degree camera, AC vents, HUD, touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. It also has Kia UVO connected car tech. Kia Seltos X-Line has six airbags and a stability program. The Seltos X-Line will come at a premium price than the regular model. The regular model costs around Rs. 9.95-17.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The car will compete against Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV700, and MC Hector.
