Skoda aims to attain 10% of mid-size SUV market with Kaushaq

Kushaq manufactured by Czech carmaker Skoda auto has entered not only in highly competitive market but also in the fastest growing mid-size SUV market. It is the first vehicle under India 2.0 initiative to break into mainstream market. Its price starts from Rs. 10.5 lakh, slightly higher than Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Renault Duster. The car was launched on 28, June 2021 and the car will be seen on-road by 12, July 2021.

Indian customer key criteria for buying car is shifting towards safety, driving dynamics, engine performance. All this features really matter to the customers in India.

As there is no long-term future for diesel in India, Hollis is looking forward to deliver all the attributes of power, performance and also fuel efficiency as the share of petrol’s in SUVs is rising and the TSI engines are quite superior.
