Tata Motors to Increase their Costs of Cars and SUV's

Tata Motors hike the price of their cars in the coming days, official announcement date is yet to come

Tata Motor has decided to increase the price of their cars and SUVs. It will be for the second time when Tata Motors hike the price. The company has not yet revealed the date of the announcement for the price hike. It will be announced soon in the upcoming days.  

As there is an increase in the overall inputs for the raw material, which include steel and precious metals, Prices of the products like hot-rolled coil(HRC) and cold rolled coil have increased significantly in recent times. Precious metals like rhodium and palladium used in catalytic converters have increased too. Demand for it has gone up because emission norms have been updated in several countries. 

Last Tata Motor have increased their prices in May 2021. The rate was gone up in the range of Rs 4,400 to Rs 36,400 depending upon car and variant. The average price hike was 1.8%.
