The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) have announced the team for the India vs Australia tour. India has declared the squad for the entire series that is scheduled to start from November 27. It includes 3-T20, 3-ODI’s and 4-match test series. Cricket Australia (CA) has also announced its team.

T20 squad: Virat Kohli (Captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul (vice-captain and wicket-keeper), Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson (wicket-keeper), Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shami, Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar, Varun Chakravarthy, Shreyas Iyer.

ODI squad: Virat Kohli (Captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul (vice-captain & wicket-keeper),  Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shami, Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Mayank Agarwal, Ravindra Jadeja.

Test squad: Virat Kohli (Captain), Mayank Agarwal, Prithvi Shaw, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane (vice-captain), Hanuma Vihari, Shubman Gill, Umesh Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, R. Ashwin, Mohd. Siraj, Wriddhiman Saha (wicket-keeper), Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shami. 

Four additional bowlers Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Kartik Tyagi, Ishan Porel and T. Natarajan will also travel with the Indian squad.
 
However, Rohit Sharma's absence is going to be a huge setback for team India. The cricketer has been ruled out because of a hamstring injury he hit during the ongoing IPL. KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav are a part of India’s Test squad. Fast pacer Mohammed Siraj has also been called-up for the four matches in December-January as a replacement of Ishant Sharma.

In an official statement, BCCI said that they will continue to monitor the progress of Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma.

On Thursday, CA announced the ODI and T20I squads for the forthcoming tour at home against India. The Australian squad includes Aaron Finch (capt), Sean Abbott, Ashton Agar, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Cameron Green, Steven Smith, Matthew Wade, David Warner, Adam, Josh Hazlewood, Moises Henriques, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Daniel Sams, Kane Richardson, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis.
