'Coolie No 1', 'Durgavati', 'Chhalaang' and others to release on Amazon Prime Video, deets inside
Popular OTT platform Amazon Prime Video is all set to globally premiere 9 highly-anticipated films including Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan's 'Coolie No.1', Rajkummar Rao and Nushrratt Bharuccha's 'Chhalaang' and Bhoomi Pednekar's 'Durgavati'.
After basking in the success of 'Shakuntala' and 'Gulabo Sitabo' leading OTT platform Amazon Prime Video is all set to globally premiere 9 highly-anticipated films including Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan's 'Coolie No.1', Rajkummar Rao and Nushrratt Bharuccha's 'Chhalaang' and Bhoomi Pednekar's 'Durgavati'.
The new slate includes 9 titles spanning 5 Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam taking Prime Video’s total direct-to-service offering to 19 exciting movies across genres and languages.
Apart from Bollywood films the line-up also includes Anand Devarakonda starrer Middle-Class Melodies (Telugu), Madhavan starrer Maara (Tamil), Bheema Sena Nala Maharaja featuring Aravinnd Iyer and Halal Love Story (Malayalam) among others will premiere starting 15th October 2020.
Varun and Sara's family comedy 'Coolie No. 1' is scheduled to premiere on 25 December. Bhoomi Pednekar's scary ride 'Durgavati' is slated to release on 11 December. Rajkummar Rao and Nushratt Baruchaa's 'Chhalaang' will release on 13 November.
While the regional films 'Halal Love Story' (Malayalam) is scheduled to premiere on 15th October; Bheema Sena Nalamaharaja (Kannada) will premiere on 29th October; Soorarai Pottru (Tamil) will release on 30th October; Manne Number 13 (Kannada) is slated to release on 19th of November; Middle-Class Melodies (Telugu) will premiere on 20th November and Maara (Tamil) is scheduled on 17th December.
Meanwhile, 'Coolie No 1' was supposed to release in theatres in May 2020. However, due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, it got postponed.
