Ajay Devgn's directorial venture 'MayDay' starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh renamed as 'Runway 34'

Actor Ajay Devgn announced that his upcoming directorial venture 'MayDay' has been renamed 'Runway 34'. It is an edge-of-the-seat drama film. Ajay Devgn took to Instagram to announce the same, he wrote, "MayDay is now Runway 34. A high-octane thriller inspired by true events that is special to me, for reasons more than one! #Runway34 - Landing on Eid, April 29, 2022 as promised"

This film marks the third directorial venture of Ajay Devgn after 2008's 'U Me Aur Hum' and 2016's 'Shivaay'. Shoot for Runway 34 commenced last year in December.

Ajay Devgn is essaying the role of a pilot and Rakul Preet Singh is his co-pilot in the film. The details of Amitabh Bachchan's character has not been revealed yet. The movie also stars Angira Dhar and is set to release on 29 April 2022 under the banner of Ajay Devgn FFilms.
