Hansal Mehta's directorial Faraaz to star Zahan Kapoor and Aditya Rawal in lead roles

Hansal Mehta has finally unveiled the name of his next film and the debuting cast Aditya Rawal and Zahan Kapoor. The director released a motion poster of 'Faraaz' on his social media handle, giving a glimpse of the plot. The video begins with a blast in a cafe. It also has a voice-over giving a short description of the film. Zahan Kapoor is a cousin of Kareena Kapoor, and Aditya is Paresh Rawal's son.

Faraaz is based on the Holey Artisan cafe attack that shook Bangladesh in July 2016. The film is a joint production by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar. The producers have assured to make the film a thrilling cinematic experience for the audience. Sahil Saigal, Sakshi Bhatt, and Mahana Films’ Mazahir Mandasaurwala are also the producers of this film.

Hansal Mehta is known for the popular web series 'Scam 1992' and a sports drama 'Chhalaang'
