'Oh My God 2': Pankaj Tripathi to commence shooting; Akshay Kumar to play Lord Krishna once again

The shooting of the movie has commenced today, and apparently, Pankaj Tripathi has started his part of filming in Mumbai. Yami Gautam has joined the film as a female lead cast.

The much-awaited sequel of the 2012 movie Oh My God is now in the making. According to the latest reports, Khiladi Kumar will reprise the role of Lord Krishna and, Pankaj Tripathi has joined the movie as a lead actor replacing Paresh Rawal.

The shooting of the movie has commenced today, and apparently, Pankaj Tripathi has started his part of filming in Mumbai. Yami Gautam has joined the film as a female lead cast and will begin with her schedule soon. Akshay Kumar and Ashwin Varde have produced the movie and, Amit Rai has directed it. Pankaj Tripathi will finish shooting his solo sequences in the next few days, and then Yami Gautam will join the team for the shoot. Reportedly, Akshay Kumar will start shooting in October and, he has been given 15-20 days from his schedule for the role of Lord Krishna.

As the reports suggest, the makers have consciously decided on making the sequel. The makers were aware of the cult following of Oh My God and they were working on the script from the last decade and waited for the perfect script to make the sequel. Currently, Akshay Kumar is working on Ram Setu and Raksha Bandhan and will finish shooting in the next few months.
