London Bubble Co. and Cafe Coffee Day join hands to enrich your coffee experience with waffles

The strategic alliance hopes to generate incremental revenue to repay debts for CCD. LBC is likely to open 150 in-store shops at the cafe outlets in 2 phases. It will piggyback on CCD's 1200 stores to expand its footprints.

London Bubble Co. has entered a strategic alliance with Cafe Coffee Day to launch a multi-brand food chain. LBC which is all about 'The New Us' is set to satisfy our bitter and sweet cravings by serving a fresh combo of coffee and waffles. The idea behind this playful combo is to give customers a memorable experience. Who can resist when the rich flavours of waffle take your taste buds to an out of this world experience, and your favourite cup of cappuccino to add the glam to it? Just the thought will make your mouth water!

 Talking exclusively about the collaboration, Mustakeen Sheikh, MD of London Bubble Co. averred, "It is a principal strategic alliance. The execution will happen in two phases, in the first stage, we are setting up 101 LBC stores in CCD at multiple locations, In the second stage, 56 more branches will be installed pan India. We are looking at rapid scalability under such alliance growing to more than 250 stores in India and a revenue push of expected 2.2 million dollars annually."

 Adding further he mentioned, "LBC's will freshly bake waffles at all shortlisted CCD properties along with machinery and an in-house brand person". The main USP of these outlets will be that the customers will get to experience LIVE kitchen, where the food and beverages will be prepared from such setup. As per the agreement, the coffee retailer won't be allowed to have a competing menu that LBC sells which includes waffles, pre-packed ice-creams and dairy-free milkshakes.

 Elaborating more about the association Mustakeen Sheikh, mentioned, "LBC will get a chance to enter new cities with reduced Capex of 87%. Soon more outlets will be established pan India to explore remote locations like Shimla, Bhubaneshwar and tier 2 & 3 cities where the market is restricted to such product exposures."
