Nike closes all global operations this week to give employees a break emphasizing the importance of mental health

The organisation has given an option to all of its employees globally to take time off this week. Reportedly Matt Marrazzo, senior manager at Nike, said that this is not just a week off but an acknowledgment that they can prioritise mental health and get the work done.

Nike has decided to ease and avoid its employee's stress and mental burnout. The company have closed all of its offices globally for this particular week to give a break to the employees prioritising mental health over productivity. 

The organisation has given an option to all of its employees globally to take time off this week. Reportedly Matt Marrazzo, senior manager at Nike, said that this is not just a week off but an acknowledgment that they can prioritise mental health and get the work done.

This decision comes under the light of a period of stress, anxiety, and unrest among the workers. The companies are gearing up globally to call their employees back to the office but, for some, the Delta variant is an obstacle.

More and more companies are offering vacation to their employees this year. The companies are Bumble, Challenger, Mozilla, and Gray & Christmas. According to them, this past year has been rough for all. They want to improve the mental health of their people.
