IRCTC launches new luxurious executive lounge at New Delhi Railway Station

He also added that they give various facilities to the visitors like wi-fi, television, channel music, information display, multi-cuisine buffet, computer, printer, fax machine and photostat.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a new world-class airport-like executive lounge at New Delhi Railway Station on the first floor of platform no.1. It is the second executive lounge inaugurated by them to give a luxurious experience to its commuters. Tweeting about the same, IRCTC wrote, "#IRCTC's new Food Plaza 'Pop n Hop' has been opened today at New Delhi Railway Station on Platform No. 16. The Food Plaza offers multiple brands like KFC, Domino's, Haldiram's, Wow Momos and other reputed joints to add more choices to the travelling passengers."

He also added that they give various facilities to the visitors like wi-fi, television, channel music, information display, multi-cuisine buffet, computer, printer, fax machine and photostat. They also offer a comfortable seating facility, retail books and magazines, complimentary tea or coffee, or beverages.

The passengers need to pay an entry fee of Rs. 150 plus tax for the first hour and Rs. 99 for an extra one hour. The newly commissioned lounge is operational 24x7. To offer a clean and hygienic experience to the visitors they have a separate wash and change facility for men and women at the lounge. With a charge of Rs. 200, they offer laundered towels, soaps, high-quality toiletries, shower caps, and dental kits. 

IRCTC also offers an all-inclusive package at Rs. 600 plus taxes that include two hours stay, one buffet meal, wash, and change facility. Notably, IRCTC operates various executive lounges at railway stations of Ahemdabad, Agra, Sealdah, Jaipur, and Madurai. They intend to launch more executive lounges at important stations of the state and capital stations.
