LinkedIn is working on Clubhouse-rival, beta testing to begin soon

In a statement, the organisation stated that the company would soon begin beta testing. It also shared a module of how the feature will look like. However, the interface seems identical to Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces.

The list of clubhouse competitors is growing. Top technology firms have already started developing the area. Twitter has already rolled out Spaces. Facebook, Mark Cuban-backed Fireside and Spotify are also set to join the bandwagon soon. The latest in the line is the professional social networking platforms LinkedIn.

LinkedIn confirmed the development and said that they are working on an audio-based networking feature. A spokesperson of LinkedIn told TechCrunch they are seeing nearly 50% growth in conversations on LinkedIn reflected in stories, video shares, and posts on the platform.
They are doing some early tests to create a unique audio experience connected to the professional identity. And, they are looking at how they can bring audio to other parts of LinkedIn such as events and groups, to give their members even more ways to connect to the community.

Meanwhile, LinkedIn is already devising the preparation for more engagement and conversation-driven content on its platform.
