Eurosport India gets broadcast rights of Tokyo 2020 Paralympic

Eurosports India will broadcast the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic games. It will commence from 24 August to 5 September.

The Paralympic Committee of India has given the broadcast right to Eurosports India for broadcasting the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic games. It will commence from 24 August to 5 September. It will be the first time Eurosport will broadcast a global multi-sport event in India.  

Eurosport India will start the coverage from 27 August by covering the men's and women's archery events at Yumenoshima Park. The feed will be Live on discovery+ so that the fans don't miss any events. In SAARC countries, Eurosport India shall be the exclusive pay-TV partner. Eurosport has got the rights of LIVE coverage and broadcast, highlights of all 22 sporting events, and delayed telecast of all events.

With the debut of Badminton at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Game, five shuttlers are representing India in the Badminton men's category. They are Pramod Bhagat, Suhas Yathiraj, Manoj Sarkar, Krishna Nagar, and Tarun Dhillon. The women's doubles shuttlers include the pair of Palak Kohli and Parul Parmar. 

For Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympics, India is sending its largest contingent ever. 54 Paralympic athletes are participating this time. Fans will be eyeing Avani Lekhra (10m air rifle, 50m air rifle), Manish Narwal (10m air pistol), Singhraj (10m air pistol) in shooting events; Sandeep Chaudhary and Sumit Antil in Javelin; Mariyappan Thangavelu in High Jump. He will also be the flag bearer of India.
