Tokyo Olympics 2020: Neeraj Chopra to Mary Kom-India's top five medal contender 

The country sets hopes on Mary Kom, Saurabh Chaudhary, and Neeraj Chopra to return with a medal. Billions will be cheering for team India to seal glory in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

India, in Tokyo Olympics 2020, will be sending a strong contingent of 126 athletes. The contingent contains alternate players who will be taking part in team sports. The country will rest its hopes on PV Sindhu, Saurabh Chaudhary, and Neeraj Chopra to return with a medal. Billions will be cheering for team India to seal glory in the Olympics.

Tokyo Olympics 2020 is not far away, to begin. The games will be held without any spectators due to the threat of Covid-19. The government has taken the necessary protocols to put in place for the game to get underway from July 23. 

The lists of Indian Athletes for strong medal contenders at Tokyo Olympics 2020:
PV Sindhu 
Indian badminton player throughout her career won medals at multiple tournaments. She won a silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics in the women's singles category. 

Neeraj Chopra
Subedar Neeraj Chopra competes in the javelin throw. He holds a national record of 88.07 m for the event. He also has won gold medals for India at the 2018 Asian Games and Commonwealth Games. 

Mary Kom
Mary Kom the only female Indian boxer to have won an Olympic medal and aims for her second medal this year in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.  

Bajrang Punia
Bajrang Punia competes in the 65kg weight category. He holds three medals at the World Wrestling Championships. He is one of the best wrestlers, and the nation has high hopes for him for the medal. 

Saurabh Chaudhary
Saurabh Chaudhary an Indian sport shooter holds a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games in a 10m Air pistol. He was the youngest athlete to win a gold medal at the Asian Games. He will be gunning for the glory at Olympics this year.
