Tokyo Olympics 2020: Ravi Kumar Dahiya bags silver medal in 57kg wrestling final

Ravi Kumar Dahiya has won a silver medal for India in 57kg freestyle wrestling at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The Indian wrestler lost the bout by 7-4 against two times World Champion Zavur Uguev from Russia. Ravi gave a tough fight to the Russian wrestler. 

In the first round, Zavur made a lead with 4 points with his powerful moves, though Ravi didn't let his spirit and scored 2 points. The second round was tough as the Russian wrestler dominated Ravi and reached 7 points. In the last two minutes of the bout, Ravi Kumar scored 2 points.

It is a very proud moment for India with Ravi Kumar's silver in 57kg freestyle wrestling. It was a great journey for him so far. He laid down the Bulgarian (14-4) and Colombian (13-2) wrestlers in technical superiority. Kudos to Ravi Kumar Dahiya for bringing his A-game to the table, making the nation proud.
