World Cadet Wrestling Championship: Priya Malik clinches a gold medal for India

Indian wrestler Priya Malik won gold in World Cadet Wrestling Championship in the women's 73 kg weight category. The wrestler won by 5-0 against Belarus wrestler Kseniya Patapovich. The World Cadet Wrestling Championship took place in Budapest, Hungary.

Priya Malik has consistently won gold in past years. She won a gold medal in the 2019 edition of 'Khelo India' in Pune and won another gold in the same year at the 17th school games in Delhi. Also, Malik won two gold medals in 2020. The athlete has continued a good form as she won two gold medals at the National Cadet Championship in Patna. 

The nation is congratulating wrestler Priya Malik for her big win in Budapest. This win made her the first athlete to bring gold for India in World Wrestling Championship. Even many B-town celebs are congratulating the champion.
