Apple iOS 15 to bring new menu features; iPad home screen widgets upgrades

Reports states that iOS 15 and iPad 15, which will be revealed at WWDC 2021 on June 7, will have new menu features that will be available from the Lock Screen and Control Center.

Apple is all geared up to launch a new operating system for the iPhones at its forthcoming WWDC 2021 conference. The new version is named iOS 15. The tech giant hasn't confirmed anything about the OS features yet, however as per a report in Bloomberg here's what the company has in the pipeline.

The report states that iOS 15 and iPad 15, which will be revealed at WWDC 2021 on June 7, will have new menu features that will be available from the Lock Screen and Control Center. Using that option, users will get more control over how notifications pop up based on different tasks like driving, working and during Do Not Disturb (DND) mode. Besides, the iPad home screen users will be able to add widgets.

In the new menu, users see all information the apps are gathering. It will show the same data that is mentioned in the ‘privacy labels’ section introduced last year. There might be a minor change in the lock screen of iOS, from where the user can access the privacy menu.

Also, iMessage will get some new features that will bring it closer to WhatsApp. As far as OS is concerned, there might be a few changes, especially in macOS since the company had redesigned it last year itself.
