OnePlus launches new app 'Clipt' to make sharing between two devices easier

The Chinese company stated that the app generates a link between two devices to seamlessly connect and the Chrome extension creates a link between your devices to connect your clipboard. Once installed you can use it to send files back and forth smoothly.

Leading smartphone maker OnePlus has proclaimed a new app for Android devices called 'Clipt'. It aims to make sharing files, images, and even text between devices much more manageable. The app which was created to experiment more within the company has been developed by the OneLab team

In a post on its official community forum, OnePlus said, “If you’ve ever emailed yourself an image, messaged yourself on a chat app just to get something on your phone, or been annoyed with the 25MB limit on email clients then we think you will love this app".

The Chinese company stated that the app generates a link between two devices to seamlessly connect and the Chrome extension creates a link between your devices to connect your clipboard. Once installed you can use it to send files back and forth smoothly.

Clipt was developed after the makers realised how difficult it is to send files and text from one device to another. OnePlus, in its official announcement declared that Clipt uses your Google Drive to transfer the data. It also asks for access to read and write Google storage, however, Clipt can only download the files it creates.

OnePlus urged users to try out the Clipt and report on the play store if they find any bugs.
