Snapchat to allow users to make Legos with friends in Augmented Reality

Snapchat recently introduced its latest Spectacles that is one of the first true AR glasses out there. Apart from the glasses, the company also launched a new type of AR lens called “Connected Lenses," which allows users to connect and enjoy an AR experience or a game together even if they are not present in the same place physically. Now, Snap has partnered with toy-maker Lego for its first application of connected lens, which allows users to build a Lego model in AR together.

The company has tried to expand its augmented reality lenses, which also include popular photo filter lenses. Creators will also be able to develop new Connected Lenses using Snap’s Lens Studio. Reportedly, the new lens will be available on Lego’s Snapchat profile soon.

Snapchat has also launched its latest Spectacles, which comes as the first true AR glasses. However, the new lens is not for sale and is only available for developers to try out new applications as of now.
