Vivo has launched the latest model Y51(2020) of the Y-series lineup in India. The same model was launched in Pakistan and Indonesia. The smartphone features a large 5,000mAh battery and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. It also holds a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main camera and has a microSD card support of up to 1TB.
As for specifications, the device runs on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 software and supports dual-SIM (Nano). It highlights a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,408 pixels) LCD. The device carries 8GB RAM and internal storage of 128GB.
The smartphone highlights a triple camera setup on the back and features a 48-megapixel primary sensor joined with f/1.79 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide f/2.2 lens, and a 2-megapixel extra shooter with an f/2.4 lens. It includes features like slow-motion video, time-lapse, super night mode and AI 48-MP mode. At the front, the phone holds 16MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
As far as connectivity options are concerned it adds dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, GPS, USB OTG and FM Radio. Sensors carry an accelerometer, e-compass, ambient light sensor, e-compass and proximity sensor.
Vivo Y51 is priced in India at Rs. 17,990 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage facility. The phone is available in Titanium, Sapphire and Crystal Symphony colours.
