AAP government announces Sonu Sood as the face of 'Desh Ke Mentor' programme

This initiative will operate in every Delhi government school aiming to offer career guidance and counselling to the students, especially to the underprivileged ones. In this scheme, the government will try to well-educated people with young kids.

Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood has now joined hands with the AAP (Aam Admi Party) government to mentor lakhs of students and youngsters. The Delhi government made him the ambassador of the 'Desh Ke Mentor' an initiative of the state government.

This initiative will operate in every Delhi government school aiming to offer career guidance and counselling to the students, especially to the underprivileged ones. In this scheme, the government will try to well-educated people with young kids. Each mentor will have 4-5 kids under their training. This way, the government aims to target over 3 lakh professionals who will guide around 10 lakh kids. The mentors will not only speak to the kids about their careers but also will help them in solving their problems.

Sonu Sood will mentor few kids and will urge educated professionals to do the same. Reportedly Sonu said that people always complain about nothing is improving in the country. He said this is the time to achieve something, and youth can contribute to the country. He further added that there couldn't be a tremendous patriotic contribution than this. Reportedly, while announcing the programme, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that this is the time to make education a mass movement.
