Viral video: Bengaluru ragpicker impresses netizens with her fluent English and melodious voice

Shachina Heggar has shared two videos that show that she came across Cecilia on the street of Bengaluru. In the first video, Cecilia can be seen introducing herself and singing praises for God.

Recently the netizens have come across a video of a ragpicker from Bengaluru. In the video, one can see an elderly women-identifying herself as Cecilia Margaret Lawrence, speaking fluent English. The video was shared on Instagram by Shachina Heggar. 

Shachina has shared two videos that show that she came across Cecilia on the street of Bengaluru. In the first video, Cecilia can be seen introducing herself and singing praises for God. When asked the elderly woman if she is alone, she quickly takes out a picture of Mother Mary and shows it to the person behind the camera, and says, "You call this alone?" Cecilia also mentions about she living in Japan for seven years and more, in the video. 

As the people of Bengaluru gained traction of the video they are trying to identify her and the whereabouts of Cecilia. An Instagram user commented that she had been seen around Holy Ghost Church in Richards Town. Another user mentioned that he wants to help the lady as much as he can by asking the video maker whether she has tried to get any help for Cecilia. 

Interestingly there is an Instagram account created in the name of Lawrence. The account is a part of a 'Public Art Project' backed by the Foundation of Indian Contemporary Art (FICA). The account shared some pictures of Cecilia as several top publications have featured Cecilia.
