Cinema halls, Multiplexes and Yoga institutes to reopen in Maharashtra from THIS date

As per the Unlock 5.0 guidelines from the Maha government, theatres and multiplexes will start functioning with 50% occupancy and keeping the distance of one-seat between people from different families. No eatables will be allowed inside.

On Wednesday, the Maharashtra government has finally taken a major decision to reopen the cinema halls, multiplexes, swimming pools, yoga institutes and indoor sports clubsoutside containment zones from November 5. All these businesses were closed since lockdown was imposed to the Pandemic in March.

As per the Unlock 5.0 guidelines from the Maha government, theatres and multiplexes will start functioning with 50% occupancy and keeping the distance of one-seat between people from different families. No eatables will be allowed inside.

Swimming pools which are used for training of state, national and international level sportspersons can operate from November 5 but they located outside containment zones. Yoga institutes and other indoor sports are also allowed.

Meanwhile, the SOP for the same will be issued by the Cultural Affairs Department and local authorities. The other lockdown restrictions have been extended until November 30. 

Earlier in October, the state government had allowed hotels and bars to reopen. Social distancing and timely sanitization should be ensured.
