Happy Diwali 2020: Celebration of high spirits amid challenging times
Diwali has been the symbol of wisdom, hope and light, so keeping the spirits high let's make this festival a medium to bring our lives back to normal.
Diwali is said to be the festival of lights, hope and values that makes us prosper. Diyas lit up all around, lanterns get hanged in the balconies, beautiful rangolis embellished the streets and houses and temples are decorated with vibrant hues of lights. Every year the festival is celebrated with great pomp and fervour. However, this year due to the unfortunate turn of events it seemed unlikely to celebrate the festival traditionally.
2020 has been full of dooms from deadly Coronavirus pandemic, disastrous cyclone Amphan and Nisarga, forest fire to landslides; this year will undoubtedly be considered one of the catastrophic years not just in India but in the entire world. Even after facing all these challenging situations, the spirit of celebrating the festivities is still alive.
This year people are opting for simple customs like rejoicing the time with the family members. Also, trying to bring out the best by sending sweets and connecting virtually with their near and dear ones. Diyas have illuminated the country instead of crackers' boom and smoke covering sky.
Diwali has always been the symbol of wisdom, hope and light, so keeping the spirits high let's make this festival a medium to bring our lives back to normal.
Good Newwws wishes all our readers a very happy and safe Diwali!
