Maharashtra Government issues new guidelines as COVID-19 cases rise in the state

According to the new regulation, several restrictions have been put on hotels, restaurants, movie halls, social gatherings and other things.

Amidst the rise in the COVID-19 confirmed cases in Maharashtra, the government has issued new strict guidelines. The new restrictions will be in effect till March 31 to restrain the spread of Coronavirus in the state.
The official statement which was issued read, "All earlier orders shall be aligned with this order and shall remain in force up to March 31, 2021".

According to the new regulation, several restrictions have been put on hotels, restaurants, movie halls, social gatherings and other things.

Check the new guidelines:
1. All cinema halls-single screens & multiplexes/hotels/ restaurants to operate on 50% capacity.
2. No social/ cultural/ political/ religious gatherings to be allowed. 
3. Not more than 50 people will be allowed to be present only for weddings.
4. Not more than 20 people will be allowed to be present for the performance of the last rites. 
5. Home isolation will be allowed, however with certain restrictions: 
6. All offices except related to health and other essential services shall work with 50% of attendance. But Work from home is advised. 


Apart from all this entry to these places including shopping malls shall be subject to the following restrictions:

*No entry without proper wearing of masks. 
*Temperature measuring devices to be used compulsory.
*Hand sanitisers to be kept at various adjacent locations.
