Mumbai auto driver sells his house to fund his granddaughters' education

Mumbai based auto-rickshaw driver Deshraj who lost both sons in a matter of a few years sold his house to fund his granddaughter's education. Even after facing financial constraints, the 74-year-old man did not let adversity bring him down. To allow his granddaughter to continue her education he sold his house and started living in his auto.

Recently, HOB took to the official profile to share the good news, "The support Deshraj ji has received is immense! Because you all went out of your way to help him, he now has a roof over his head, and will be able to educate his granddaughter! Thank you so much ♥️ #pawrihoraihai #feelkaroreelkaro"

For those uninitiated, Deshraj became the sole wage-earner after he lost both his sons a couple of years ago. After transporting people around on his auto he would merely earn him a sum of Rs. 10,000. However, he did not let his financial struggles come in the way of his granddaughter’s dream of becoming a teacher.
