Distance makes everything beautiful, it can never separate two hearts who are in real love. There is nothing more special than celebrating love and Sundeep Dosanjh and Sharath Puttichanda's long-distance love story will melt your heart. From enjoying virtual dates, meeting in person to taking wedding vows these two guys made it all happen.

Sundeep and Sharath recently tied the knot in an extravagant affair and their wedding pics speaks volume. The Official Humans Of Bombay took to their Instagram handle to share this filmy love story.

In a candid conversation, Sundeep said, "Sharath & I started talking in the most unexpected way. I’d hailed a cab when the driver made a racist remark–‘Dude, you have an Indian name but don’t look Indian at all.’ So, I spoke about it online. Sharath DM’d when he saw that post–‘Of course we all don't look the same’, he said. Sharath shared his own experiences with racism–being brown men in America connected us. But I was apprehensive because we lived on opposite sides of the country–when I told him that I wouldn't be able to move, he said, ‘There’s nothing holding me back’; my heart melted."

"So on Valentine’s day, I suggested a virtual date! We picked the same restaurant, but in our cities. My heart was beating so fast; we went through the menu, the butlers sang for us, we ate Chinese–it was perfect. A few weeks later, we finally met in San Francisco; it was like a Bollywood film–at the airport, we ran towards each other & kissed. For the next 11 days, we did everything–movies, dinners. Once, I wanted to hold his hand in public but wasn’t sure how he felt. When I asked him, he laughed & said,’ Of course you can!’ We were going to travel for his birthday, but Covid hit. As I was wondering how we’d make the relationship work, Sharath flew down on his birthday. Every time I had doubts, he never lost faith in us."

"I even introduced him to my parents; mom was so emotional. The next time we met, I proposed to him by the riverside at sunset–Sharath yelled, ‘Oh my god yes!’ We decided to marry right away! We had a traditional wedding–Sharath is from Bangalore & I’m Punjabi so we had both rituals. We both had Baarats & made our vows as equals. But when I put up our wedding photos online, it upset people. Comments like–‘You can’t have a gay Punjabi wedding’, were passed. Sharath & I made sure we gave them all a fitting response–we’re Indians & we have every right to follow our heart. Recently, a Punjabi guy asked me to stop posting pictures, so I shared another photo & tagged him! Sharath & I often talk about how lucky we’ve been–we never thought it’d be so easy but everything worked out like it was meant to. I guess sometimes to find the right person, you have to take a leap of faith and just...trust.”

Good Newwws wishes the couple a lifetime of love and happiness!
