Uttarakhand Government allows 50% Occupancy in Hotels

The hotels will be allowed to operate at 50 percent capacity at both Nainital and Dehradun. Challans will be issued for those who are flouting the mandatory face mask rule.

The Uttarakhand government has issued new guidelines for hotels to manage the heavy rush of tourists as it has increased concern among authorities amid third-wave scare. The hotels will be allowed to operate at 50% capacity at both Nainital and Dehradun. Challans will be issued for those who are flouting the mandatory face mask rule. 

The Covid curfew will be extended till 13th July 2021 by the Uttarakhand government. The tourist must carry their negative Rapid Antigen test report, or RT-PCR took within 72 hours. They also need to register themselves on the smart city platform to visit Uttarakhand. 

Tourists, once arrived, in Ladakh will be sent to the quarantine center and will be strictly allowed to enter only in Ladakh when tested negative after the Rapid Antigen Test. If the tourist is tested positive, he/she will be isolated to the nearby quarantine center.
