Superstar Salman Khan has extended support to COVID-19 frontline warriors by distributing 5000 food packages.  Before delivery, the packets, the actor himself visited 'Bhaijaanz Kitchen' to taste the food for a quality check. Salman had expressed his concern to Yuva Sena leader Rahul Kanal regarding the on-duty police officers, BMC staff and health workers as most shops are shut and the grocery stores are shut after functioning for the specified four-hour window.

Kanal told that within 24 hours after their conversation, loaded food trucks were all set to go for distribution. As part of a three-week drive, food packages that include tea, mineral water, a pack of biscuits, and snacks like poha,upma,vada pav, pav bhaji among others are being distributed to the frontline workers.

In the meantime, last year also Salman Khan had supplied food to the people staying near his Panvel farmhouse. Several videos of the actor loading tractors and other essential commodities had gone viral. Jacqueline Fernandez, Iulia Vantur and Waluscha De Sousa among others had also helped him in this initiative.
